Nich\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;extr\u00eame nord de la partie septentrionale, elle partage son territoire d&rsquo;excellence avec d&rsquo;autres appellations renomm\u00e9es telles que Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas et Saint-P\u00e9ray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un terroir d&rsquo;exception<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Des coteaux escarp\u00e9s <\/u>: <\/strong>La C\u00f4te-R\u00f4tie doit son nom \u00e0 ses pentes abruptes o\u00f9 les vignes s\u2019accrochent aux flancs de collines \u00e0 l\u2019aide de terrasses et murets am\u00e9nag\u00e9s par l\u2018homme. Ces coteaux escarp\u00e9s peuvent culminer \u00e0 325m d\u2019altitude, o\u00f9 les vignes \u00ab r\u00f4tissent \u00bb au soleil. Parfois vertigineux, ils offrent une exposition id\u00e9ale et un drainage parfait, conditions essentielles \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 des raisins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Des sols vari\u00e9s <\/u>: <\/strong>Le terroir se compose de deux types de sols principaux : les \u00ab c\u00f4tes brunes \u00bb, riches en schistes et en micas o\u00f9 naissent des vins plus cors\u00e9s, et les \u00ab c\u00f4tes blondes \u00bb, plus calcaires donnent naissance \u00e0 des vins d\u00e9licats. Elle s&rsquo;exprime ici avec une \u00e9l\u00e9gance et une complexit\u00e9 incomparables, offrant des ar\u00f4mes de fruits noirs, de violette, d&rsquo;\u00e9pices et de r\u00e9glisse. Une particularit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;appellation est l&rsquo;autorisation d&rsquo;ajouter jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 20 % de Viognier, un c\u00e9page blanc, lors de la vinification. Cette pratique ancestrale apporte une touche de finesse et de complexit\u00e9 suppl\u00e9mentaire aux vins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accords Mets et Vins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p
